TiTikTok Star Brooke Monk Leaked new Pics has amassed 19 million followers in less than two years: Here’s the secret to her success
Brooke Monk released her first video on TikTok in September 2019 and has gained over 16 million followers to date, all because of “small, ordinary things.”
In less than two years, Brooke Monk has managed to gain over 16 million followers on TikTok. In a recent interview with CNBC, the young influencer claims that this status was never her goal. Monk released her first video in September 2019 and has accumulated over 1.2 billion likes so far.
The 18-year-old American told CNBC on the latest episode of “Marketing Media Monday” that she was mostly drawn to the experience of creating content for social networks. “I love the audience – I love reading comments and talking to viewers,” Monk said, explaining that ignorance motivates people to post more because she loves reading others’ opinions.
According to Monk, the secret to creating popular content on platforms like TikTok lies in “the small, ordinary things we all experience.” Another important factor, he said, is listening to what your audience wants and staying positive on social platforms.
“I believe that most audiences turn away from influencers when they become too popular and previous fans just stop watching them,” he points out.
Monk believes it’s important for brands not to change the influencer’s life, otherwise they run the risk of content looking sponsored and him appearing as a “person with the product” – which can negatively impact popularity. He also believes that brands should work more with influencers in the future “because the audience feels connected to the influencer when they see their daily life, as opposed to celebrities or commercials or infomercials.”
Needless to say, TikTok is currently experiencing record popularity. Since June 2020, the Chinese social network has recorded more than 91 million monthly active users in the United States. In 2019, that number was still at 27 million.
Monk claims that she realized she was becoming an influencer when her followers asked her about the products she uses. As for earnings, the young content creator didn’t mention anything, but analysts claim that someone needs to have at least 10,000 followers and more than 270 million views per year to earn $100,000 per year on the platform.

WME has signed teen TikTok star Brooke Monk , who has more than 29 million followers on social platforms, for representation in all areas.
WME said it will expand Monk’s business to film, television, podcasts and new media. The 19-year-old Florida native was previously represented by UTA.
Monk has nearly 19 million TikTok followers since she joined the short video platform in September 2019, and has gained popularity with lip-sync and dance videos. She also has a growing following on Instagram (2.5 million followers) and YouTube, where her channel has more than 1.3 million subscribers. Monk also sells clothing such as hoodies and face masks on her own e-commerce website.
Monk “aims to provide credible comedy sketches, family-friendly content and an openness to difficult topics that young girls don’t always want to talk about publicly,” according to a bio provided by WME.
She also speaks openly about her Christian faith: her bio on TikTok says “Jesus forever” (as well as “I’m not funny”) and her Instagram bio quotes “1 Corinthians 13: 1-7,” the biblical passage that reads “Love is patient, love is kind. It is not envious, it does not boast, it is not proud.”
“I love having an audience, I love reading people’s comments, I love interacting with people,” Monk said in an interview with CNBC last year.
Monk continues to be represented by Devain Doolaramani of the law firm Fuel Injector and attorneys Eric Marder of Reed Smith LLP.
